Pros

They heat the building in the winter. The diner exists, but you can't use the cups.. for visitors only. Your peers are generally all really nice people who just ended up in a bad situation together, so there's a real sense of camaraderie.

Cons

Have you read the other reviews? Startling huh? The re-org is indeed a disaster. Morale is dismal. Advancement non-existent. Raises are pitiful.. pathetic.. insulting. Raises are non-negotiable, they'll literally let you know about it after payroll has been submitted for processing. Every year you will fall deeper and deeper behind what is industry standard, 3% this year, 2.5% next year. They'll try to ply you with compliments and alcohol, but in the end they're giving you the bare minimum to maintain you, and you know it. They don't value you, or reward loyalty or depth of expertise. You'll wonder as you trudge through the snowy parking lot if this is normal. Its not. You have a degree in computer science. Its the hottest job market for software developers since 1998, and your shoes are leaking. Will that extra $38 in your paycheck replace them?

Pros

Remote or hybrid capability. Usually a flexible schedule.

Cons

Constant quiet firing. They've figured out how to avoid public disclosures quite well. Every month they're whacking batches of 20~30 employees - esp. if you were in a higher pay band or part of an acquired company. There's constant leadership churn as of late - not that leadership was ever that great, but the clownshow has more makeup on the pigs now. If you were part of an acquired company, the stench of nepotism was constant. Hyland doesn't provide legitimate training or certification assistance for everyone. Their products would fail any sort of security scan by an AI tool too. If you're a customer, buyer beware.
