Pros
The culture, daily support from coworkers and management alike, opportunities to travel, opportunities for personal growth as well as professional growth, flexible working schedule, benefits.
I have worked at this company for almost two years now, and I have YET to have a bad day. I owe it to the CONSTANT support from management, as well as the support the editorial team gives me daily. I have worked in many roles, and been a part of many teams, but I have NEVER seen a culture like the one at ICIS.
The editorial team is strong and supportive, and my management is invested in my personal and professional development. Not only have I received support from management as I learned my role, I have also received an IMMENSE amount of support from the editorial team as a whole. I can't think of a single person on my team that I wouldn't be able to call and ask for help. Actually, I believe I have turned to every single person on the editorial team for some type of support, at some point in these past two years.
Management continues to impress me as I learn my role and want to expand my learning. Every opportunity I have been given is one that I asked for. I have YET to be denied any form of growth or advancement within the company. When I first joined ICIS, I expressed an interest in traveling to conferences to build connections within the industry, and management has given me every opportunity imaginable to foster that interest.
The benefits include competitive pay, tuition reimbursement, and a flexible working schedule – 2 days in office, which you get to pick. The office itself is extremely nice and it is obvious management had employee comfort in mind when they leased it.
I cant thank ICIS, and management enough for fostering such a great work environment for its employees.
Cons
There are absolutely ZERO cons, and I am not just saying that.
