Pros
Excellent management in branch offices in CA. Definite room for growth if you're willing to put in the extra time and effort required for salaried positions. Excellent employee assistance program, managers and HR are willing to work with you for FMLA and other leaves of absence.
Cons
Plagued by out of touch national and executive leadership. Very personable when meeting them, but their business mindset is very 1980's. Work life balance can be difficult to maintain, especially due to the production that is expected. There are no "renewal underwriters" and as a BDU you are expected to be the end-all be-all with your book of business. Service center often feels combative with underwriting, rather than acting as the support the department is intended for.
