Pros
- Comprehensive training process.
- Consistent work hours. Little need for overtime if you're efficient in managing your workload.
- Strong benefits package.
- Zero micromanagement: management is entirely hands-off. This may appeal to some more than others.
- *usually* Approachable and friendly staff.
Cons
- Limited growth trajectory.
- Occasional poor communication between staff and management. Senior level employees can be inconsistent in their application / understanding of policies.
- Lack of a cohesive office culture / too impersonal. This may bother some more than others, but the office is VERY quiet and few staff members interact with each other on a regular basis. I believe this is a consequence of both the nature of the work (95% of the time spent on a computer, sending e-mails, inputting data etc.) and the quantity of work. While it never got to be too much for me, you will remain busy and will feel that you have little time for conversation with your colleagues, especially if you wish to avoid overtime.
