Pros

I loved my first two years at IPG Health (2021–late 2022). The company offered great perks, including unlimited PTO, excellent benefits, and a flexible in-office schedule, which made work-life balance easy to maintain. There were also fun in-office events and holiday parties during the winter and summer that really brought teams together. During my time there, senior leadership was very supportive and approachable, which made it a great environment to learn and grow in. Overall, IPG Health was a wonderful place to start and build my career.

Cons

Over time, I observed some members of senior leadership — specifically managing partners at FCB Health New York and Area 23 and Neon — did not consistently treat lower-level team members with respect or patience on calls. Several colleagues expressed that they felt uncomfortable due to the condescending tone and lack of empathy displayed by certain senior leaders. There has also been ongoing uncertainty following the acquisition, with little communication from leadership regarding updates on return-to-office mandates, time off policies, and structural changes. The workload can be extremely high-pressure, and even minor mistakes are met with harsh feedback. Finally, many of the smaller, specialized agencies are understaffed, which puts additional strain on existing teams and had been a persistent issue throughout my four years with the company.

Impossible to get into the industry without a huge network. Every employee at this company you met would tell you how hard it was to get started.
