Pros
The people on this team are at the top of their game. So smart/credentialed, varied perspectives, and full of innovative ideas. I learn something everyday and enjoy the autonomy and trust provided by leadership. I appreciate the flexibility and kindness shown to me when it was needed. The work is interesting, high quality, and the clients are varied. Cognizant provides a safety net but integration is still “in-progress” and in some ways I’m glad it’s a bit separate.
Cons
The challenges are all about the integration with Cognizant. The parent company still doesn’t understand what we do or what it takes. That means we aren’t funded or supported in the ways needed to do our jobs - like high quality external training, rewards, direct exposure to the clients, and lack of freedom to operate differently.
