Almost everything
1. They say that they trust their employees and keep on stressing on the word "Trust". But when it comes to reality, I really don't think that they do. Even if we are 2mins late to the office they cross question as if we have made a sin. We literally will be having a 1-on-1 with the manager(30-45mins) explaining the reason. They won't beleive even if it is a genuine one.
2. They will take (70-80 %)freshers around 6 lpa. And these kids blindly follow them as they are not aware of the outside IT culture. They will join happily because they got a good salary.
3. They have a senseless rule of asking every employee to attend the LANDMARK Sessions. Also you have to pay around 8500/- RS for which they won't even provide the bill and no online transactions were allowed.
4. For developers, they wont give much freedom to take decisions while working. There is lot of micromanagement from the management team.
5. I wasted a full day to get my code merged into master branch because of a silly space issue which had zero impact on the code.
6. Even an expert in any particular domain will make mistake while working and thats how they learn. Even if you did any minor mistake, you have to face the management. They will grill you like anything and might even fire you right away. Else they will make your life hell until you are there in the company.
7. They will keep an eye on you, if you are learning so quickly and fast, they will change your technology (They are very insecure that we will switch company)
8. They have implemented a rule like if you are working under a client, you should not switch your job under the same client's office until 2years.
9. One can easily become a manager, if they follow the rule of, work less and talk more about leadership.
10. You have to report to the people who have no technical knowledge.
12. When you have a one on one, they always ask about your personal life, where you are struggling and when time comes they'll use it against you. If you don't share or have opinions not as same as them, they'll say "You are not aligned with the comapany culture"
13. Sometimes people having just 1.5 years of experience will behave like a managers.
14. Even in this Pandemic, CEO and higher management are asking employees to come to the office and start working.
