Pros
It's a challenging position, so it's a good resume booster.
Cons
If I could do it all over, I would stay away from Insight Global. It's basically a pyramid scheme and only the top producers make money. You don't make commission until you are promoted to either Account Manager or Pro Recruiter, and even then it takes on average 3-4 months from your promotion to make money (they don't tell you about their draw system ahead of time). They hire kids out of college as their first job, so they feel like this is how the real corporate world works. Well Guess what, IT's NOT. Be prepared to be belittled, micromanaged, and disrespected (by Account Managers the same age or younger than you). You think people are your friends, but really everyone talks bad about you behind your back-There are weekly sales meetings solely to talk about people, it's honestly insane. Not to mention, all the HR violations. You have one hour to take your lunch break at the same time daily, and if you come back 1 minute late, you will be called out for it. A typical work day is around 10 hours or more and you don't get paid for overtime. So you're averaging 50+ hours per week on a 36k salary, that's not even a live-able wage. The health benefits are expensive, they only match $250 per year in your 401k and you have to be there for 5 years to be eligible! During my time at IG, just about everyone pushing for promotion shed tears because of how stressful and unethical this job is. Honestly, there is so much they don't tell you when interviewing. Do yourself a favor and don't fall for the fluff at Insight Global. Your career will be much better off!
