Lack of competence and trust - Anonymous employee InterNations Employee Review

I didn't realize how the environment was unhealthy until I started a new job. I'm writing this review to prevent anyone from joining a company where you're not valued, and you can't grow - no matter what your seniority is. Your ideas and competence don't matter either. There's no way you'll get a "yes" to something not coming from management. Besides, management supports you as long as you're aligned with their ideas. And, guess what, many times their ideas are wrong and short-sighted. A startup environment should be dynamic, and you should have the opportunity to test, measure, and learn quickly, right? Well, this is very far from what happened during my experience at InterNations GO!. I'm not sure they even know what "being agile" truly means. Everything boils down to a lack of competence and trust.
