Pros

This company won't be around much longer. They are losing employees and clients faster than they could ever replace them. They have a nice location now down by the White House.

Cons

In the past year this company has lost the Director of Finance, Director of Meetings, Director of HR, many talented and bright employees, and many key clients. The European ownership of this company can barely hide their dislike of American Professional culture and don't hide their dislike of how dominant women are in the Interel US office. Interel's leadership has one woman, who is more capable than all the men combined. It's ironic that the company markets itself as a Public Affairs firm because the "affairs" that go on at this company aren't so public. The Managing Partners in the US office are both known for their inappropriate behavior and for rewarding bad/good behavior, depending on your viewpoint. Both MP's have a history of dalliances with women in the office.

Pros

This company values (and rewards) taking initiative. Those who show an eagerness to learn, grow and be proactive about creating opportunities for themselves are greatly rewarded with advancement. There is a commitment to elevating employees at every level. It is a place that has the growth potential of a large company but the managing partner still knows your name and tells you good morning.

Cons

The company is a Belgium based public affairs and association management firm that acquired a US based association management firm. As with any acquisition there is some growing pains as the company changes hands. The management has recognized those challenges post mergers and is activity and aggressively addressing them through key leaders in the office.
