Pros

Great culture, great benefits, and values (on paper)

Cons

'Values' (in practice), the TurboTax Customer Experience / Customer Success Leaders claim 'Integrity Without Compromise' is their #1 operating value. DON'T believe it.. They've enabled and promoted 'leaders' who literally have personality disorders, and will climb over anyone to get what they want. Expect to be gaslighted daily, expect unachievable deadlines, expect constantly moving goalposts, and the most toxic culture imaginable, and alternative facts to be conjured to keep you in check, and under control. It's literally a snakepit. When the behavior was escalated to HR, they did NOTHING and actually punished the people who had concerns over this behavior. Other teams and depts are great, but DO NOT even consider the TurboTax CGCS CX team.. trust me, you'll live longer, and you're welcome:)

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
