Pros

* Working for a well known company worldwide * Many locations to choose to work at. * Benefits are average to above average.

Cons

* If in management, expect to have no work/life balance. 50-60 hours is consider normal. * Lean on staff, so when an employee goes on a vacation, on a leave, or quits/fired expect to work harder. Customer Service also suffers due to this type of thinking. Expect no help at all. * Many managers are trapped in Wamu way of thinking and still after almost 3 years haven't grasp that they don't promote Chase's vision or understand that policies are different. * Most of the branch managers do not come from a finance background and are thrown to the wolves after 4-5 months of only sales training. No training on operations, how to handle a cash drawer, or regulations.

Pros

The team was supportive and willing to answer questions. I gained practical experience in industry research, financial analysis, Excel, and data organization while working on real projects. Managers provided helpful feedback, and the internship was a good opportunity to understand how research and analytical work is completed in a professional environment.

Cons

Some assignments could become repetitive, especially data cleaning, database updates, and reviewing large amounts of information. Deadlines could also be tight during busy periods. Because the internship was relatively short, interns sometimes had limited ownership over longer-term projects.
