Pros
It’s a stable job in a turbulent economy
Cons
You will be forced into the office a minimum of 3 days a week which is tracked with an employee monitoring system called WADU which tracks a lot of things about you. If your attendance drops below 60% in a 12 week period you’ll be called up about it. Attendance will also affect your year end reviews Senior management don’t care how it affects anyone Office space isn’t enough for all the employees so you’re forced to search over multiple floors for a hot desk that has old screens and equipment Not enough bathrooms for all the people forced into the office so you’ll be queuing to use the loo or searching again over multiple floors They don’t provide you with a laptop so if you do work from home it’s on your own device and log onto a VDI. Pay isn’t that great in comparison to other companies Senior management having world tours but shutting down anything below them, so don’t expect to be going to any conferences or learning opportunities, while your ED or MD is off having a jolly flying business class everywhere.
