Beautiful office Kind and smart people Very fun at times actually Jane is a great concept, a deal/marketplace site to help small businesses grow, especially women owned businesses. Really great concept and business.
Cons
Not fast enough and out of touch.... Post 2021 the company was really struggling....after years of success and growth. Conversion, new customers, and revenue had just collapsed. The company had to do layoffs, cut costs and try a different business model and move to a marketplace from a deal site. I think the company spent too much money.... fancy office, Xbox room, hair cut room, employee perks.... tons of software, very expensive, and probably too many people.... too many execs, too many in all departments. They had to cut as many employees as possible and other perks and software to lower the costs before they ran out of money. Also...the tech was not good...it was bad. Old, not updated and clunky...I think the IT team thought they were the next amazon.... which they were not. Basically, the market was bad, there was increased competition, Jane operated in a bubble, no one wanted to stretch and move fast, and ran out of money.
