Travel benefits, if you can get a seat on standby. Good colleagues and promising abilities in many but management fail to recognise or utilise this effectively. Interesting work that could be done.
Cons
incompetent leadership No direction, no roadmap, just trying to follow trends and implement shiny software without doing due diligence on suitability. Inconsistent priorities and information. False promises of future promotion opportunities that continue to be dangled in front of people but never eventuate. Misogynistic culture/boys club, including recognition stealing. Quite a few people faking it til they make it. Incompetent people are not held to account. Bullying culture - those who do speak up are punished and retaliated against. People are simply in senior management roles because they happened to have been there, but no expectation for them to do their jobs so they rely heavily on the juniors to step up constantly. Employee engagement at record lows, leading to many resignations in the last year of skilled and talented individuals. Pay is low for the work expected. Access to data is basically nil, extremely hard to do actual work due to this.
