Extremely toxic corporate culture has consistently grown over several years in the head office since the takeover by Loblaw. No opportunities for growth unless you are comfortable with being manipulated and manipulating others. Most members of senior management lack relevant education/ knowledge and have poor management/leadership skills. Over the years I saw many talented, experienced people leave, by choice and by layoffs, and many unskilled 'yes people' promoted.
