Pros
Journeys is a very laid back company, and they give you 40% off everything in the store. The customers are great, and you're able to form a strong relationship to create repeat customers. The other management employees in my district are super helpful and friendly.
Cons
The pay at journeys for management is all commission based, with a very low base pay, so if it's not busy you can make all of your sales goals but still make minimum wage. The hours are long and exhausting, with only 1 day off a week. If you're lucky enough to have a 3rd keyholder you won't have to work an open-close, but otherwise you'll be working at least one 12 hour shift, and payroll is so low that you'll most likely be alone.
