Pros

Stable manufacturing organization with a strong industry presence. Exposure to enterprise-scale manufacturing systems and business processes. Many team members are dedicated, supportive, and willing to help each other succeed.

Cons

The biggest challenge is the leadership culture within the IT function due to abusive language of Group CIO The Group CIO's leadership style relied heavily on intimidation, aggressive communication, and frequent threats regarding job security. This created a culture of fear within the IT department and negatively impacted employee morale and mental well-being. Employees often felt uncomfortable expressing concerns, sharing alternative viewpoints, or challenging decisions. Communication from Group CIO was frequently perceived as disrespectful and demoralizing. Employee well-being and psychological safety did not appear to be organizational priorities. Concerns raised by employees often seemed to go unresolved, leading to frustration and disengagement. I personally witnessed several employees leaving leadership meetings out of Group CIO's Cabin visibly distressed and deeply affected mentally Excessive pressure and fear-based management practices by Group CIO contributed to a stressful work environment and increased employee turnover. There appeared to be limited accountability for leadership behavior despite its impact on employees.

Pros

Great coworkers. HR was actually approachable. Always something to do, flexible hours, and personally I was not micromanaged and trusted to make decisions. I was very lucky to have a knowledgeable yet entertaining boss.

Cons

Upper management does micromanage and does not seem to be aware of what is truly important running a profitable business. A large language barrier that can make others feel out of the loop. Secrecy of information that needs to be communicated. Compensation did not match the workload. Business decisions were not planned, but rather changed on a daily basis. Not focused on long term.
