Pros
- Salary is usually higher that market average (one star of five is only for this point). - Nice office with cafe and gym. - Food allowance.
Cons
- The company's management doesn't know where and how to lead it, this results in constant organizational changes (for example, the department I worked in hasn't existed for a long time), which increases stress levels - you never know what happens tomorrow. - Work-life balance? Never heard about such thing. Overtime is encouraged (and not paid), even management proudly states that they are working overnight/over weekend/over holidays. Why they are proud of this - noone can tell. - Toxic culture. Mistakes are prohibited. If you make a mistake, you are blamed for it and then fired, rather than being told that you can learn from it. - Questions are prohibited. Like we say here in Russia, "I am the boss and you are fool". You can't have your own opinion and agrue with the management - they always know better (even if they actually don't - see point 1). - Poor HR processes. There is now workload review and people can spend all their time for work and it is never valued. Promotion is for those who are friends with management and agree with them and not for those who work hard and try make changes.
