Pros
My store at least rewarded the hard work of associates, albeit simply with praise and small recognition. As with many customer service positions, helping people is its own reward. I was also granted significant days off with never a single hassle over the date or reason.
Cons
Options for financial advancement based on job performance are limited, although it is important to know I only held a part time position. The workload is often surprisingly large.
