Pros
The only pro that I can think of is that as long as you don't do anything stupid, you can pretty much do whatever you want.
Cons
First and foremost, the company is on a wage freeze. So typically, they hire you in at minimum wage, and do not give out raises, and overtime is a punishable offence. The store is almost always understaffed, and there is no chance for advancement. They're big on customer service, yet they are completely disconnected with what the customer wants. We are told to ask the customers a number of questions during checkout, the pinpad asks them questions they MUST answer before they can slide their card, and the registers print out monstrous receipts, making the checkout process take much longer than it should. Very rarely do they have big sale items in stock the day the sale starts, and if they do it's in very small quantity, so the customers are always unhappy. I've worked there for four years and the store has gotten worse each year since I've started.
