Pros

My department is a bunch of great individuals, many of whom work very well together. The benefits are very good for this size company, and HR is very good at their job. Work life balance is absolutely a given, lots of swag and employee appreciation, HQ location is nice. Great place to learn your craft if you're early in your career. They attract excellent talent at all levels, and some very hard working individuals.

Cons

There is definitely a boys' club feel here in upper management, not in a chauvinistic way but in a teachers' pet/favorites way. Middle management is, overall, managers rather than leaders. (Most everyone is really and truly nice, but that doesn't make them a good leader.) Kochava prides themselves on being a bootstrapped company, but uses it as an excuse to pay far less than the going rate. This results in that excellent talent having short tenure. Also, don't expect raises or reviews - if you are interviewing here, definitely give them your actual expected pay rate, because that will be locked in for years, even if promised otherwise during the interview process.

Pros

Good learning experience for working in golang

Cons

Company hired management from Amazon and tried to treat its small teams of engineers like they worked at Amazon, then they start outsourcing the engineering work alienating long time tech workers which lead to legacy systems failing.
