Thank you for sharing your experience and for the dedication you bring as a Behavior Technician. We’re so glad to hear you’ve felt supported and recognized. We also hear your feedback about last-minute cancellations. While team members are always welcome to request time off in advance, we understand that unexpected schedule changes can be challenging. We’re continually working to strengthen our scheduling practices to better support our team while balancing the needs of the families we serve. Thank you again for being part of Kyo and for the meaningful work you do each day.

Pros

Flexible if youre a student, very little hours so could be a 2nd job. I was told after being hired this job is mostly a second job as Kyo gives you VERY little hours, even after saying they will get you more hours.

Cons

Very limited hours, I was given about 6 hours for months and was told again and again I would get my 20-25...lies. Given long distances to commute to, no thorough explanation as to how to reimburse milage if you even can. Shocking lack of efficient management, they care about themselves & the company before the families and clients we are supposed to be supporting. I've had families communicate frustrations and management does poorly to handle those situations, in addition I was retaliated against for 2 different reasons which led me to quit. One was asking about a family's concern since they were continously being ignored & was essentially told to shut up and was dismissed from her case. Interestingly, Kyo emphasizes compatibility when assigning clients but when I came to management with a concern of mine with a client, I was told to fill out an ADA form or else we will have problems in the future, coming from HR, I about had it with this company. I am not disabled and just needed compassion and understanding. Ironically prioritizing compatibility apparently is not common practiceat this company, to voice your concerns is looked down upon.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear that your time with Kyo felt frustrating and unsupported. That is not the experience we strive to create for our team members or the families we serve. Creating a supportive and transparent environment is important to us, and we take feedback like this seriously.
