Pros
- Incredibly welcoming culture and colleagues (under previous CEO) - Autonomous work ethic - Push to do monthly team events - Experimentation mindset
Cons
Leadpages was a fantastic company to work for under the previous CEO. All of the above benefits were there, plus they had one of the most people-focused cultures in a company. If they needed to eliminate your role, they would allow you to move around the company or their parent company, Redbrick. All of this went out the window with the new CEO. Promises were made to keep the team together and move employees around with the new changes, but people lost their jobs with zero warning. Managers didn't even know when changes were coming or what they were. This highlighted that all of the "culture and values" they promoted were an empty shell. When push came to shove, the executives showed they truly didn't care about their employees. If he feels like it, the CEO goes back on decisions and promises within a heartbeat. The culture is now chaotic, stressed, and lacks focus on what matters most: their employees. For a company that has incredibly talented people working for it, no one knows what they're doing, especially the Director of Product.
