Pros
Pay and benefits are good, work hours are reasonable, the facilities are great. Great place to get started as an analyst as there is no standard tech stack, so you'll get access to all sorts of different tools.
Cons
The reorgs are relentless and breed fear, animosity, and distrust within Liberty; the culture isn't what it used to be. Terrible managers are not coached out, instead staying for 10+ years and perhaps shuffled around but never let go. If you're a white male and a yes-man, you can get promoted at a rapid rate with the rampant old boys' club mentality. With so many rapid promotions for some, the company has gotten very top heavy and expensive, which then drives shortsighted reorgs to attempt to reduce overhead. If you are interested in working at Liberty, just be prepared for endless uncertainty and constant reorgs/layoffs with little long-term strategy.
