Pros

LMIT - nice environment to try out several new technologies (not all will fly though!), several enthusiastic mid level managers, unexpectedly friendly people I have heard that their Boston site has more freedom-to-experiment, embraces open source technologies, and several technically sound folks to chat around than the one at Indianapolis. But Indy site is not bad - just need to find'em!

Cons

LMIT - low diversity, mgmt not transparent enough, some nepotism/favoritism, not all groups have the same tech-competency - some are havens, while others are mired in legacy+apathy.

Pros

Work from home, only in office twice a month

Cons

-Extremely high paced -Too many claims. Caseload is way too big. -Super stressful having to deal with customers. A lot of them don’t understand insurance or what their policy covers so you will constantly deal with pissed off uninformed insureds -metrics are unrealistic and unattainable. You need to have a 98% answer rate but at the same time you have a million cases and people calling you constantly so this is impossible to achieve. On top of that you have to actually document and determine liability. -Awful work life balance
