Pros

-paycheck is quite good and quick increases if you are meeting "metrics" -great group insurance benefits

Cons

-many feel we're paid enough to stick around but not enough to make us enjoy our jobs - basically it's hard to leave because all other jobs in this arena pay less but sometimes less pay with a better atmosphere seems well worth it -call center environment, tethered to your telephone -applied for jobs outside of call center but was told they were only hiring outside people

Pros

Work from home, only in office twice a month

Cons

-Extremely high paced -Too many claims. Caseload is way too big. -Super stressful having to deal with customers. A lot of them don’t understand insurance or what their policy covers so you will constantly deal with pissed off uninformed insureds -metrics are unrealistic and unattainable. You need to have a 98% answer rate but at the same time you have a million cases and people calling you constantly so this is impossible to achieve. On top of that you have to actually document and determine liability. -Awful work life balance
