Pros
Good salaries (but when you divide by the number of hours and stress, not so good at all). If you like to live in your job then for you. It will become your life and your life will become one with it.
Cons
Everything else. German work culture and sense of humour (i.e. no humour) - avoid at all costs. Results are the most important and only important metric there. People are tools to get the results. Only good when you start with no experience and/or through a graduate program. Otherwise you won't fit in easily. Best positions 'reserved' for the Irish and of course Germans. Most of the hardwork in th stores done by Eastern Europeans. And the management is wondering why there are no more Irish in the stores. Because it's to hard and not worth the money.
