Pros

None come to mind.

Cons

Training isn't great which means a lot of other people suffer. You can get severally under rotated and end up owing Lidl hours which of course turns in to money. They over staff stores which eats away at hours. They send staff being trained to your store and you again suffer with being under rotated. Long days but management don't care about you. Quick to ask you a favour but not to return one. Tell you no when you ask to go home sick. Under no circumstances are you allowed to talk to other staff. un realistic working times. Plenty of anxiety and worry. Staff members who don't deserve a promotion are always the first to get one.

Pros

Benefits are excellent, most people at the peer level are great. Clear performance expectations. Decent cross functional communication

Cons

Company leadership very European and doesn't quite understand the American consumer even after being in the US so long. Unreasonable expectations are the norm. No upward mobility unless you are European or speak fluent German.
