      Decent Place to work - Customer Assistant Lidl Employee Review

      Pros

      - Good pay - always enough hours if you needed them in the week (apart from winter) - Managers were very helpful with getting days off etc. - Nice people to work with - Managers treated you as equals

      Cons

      - Long hours per day, almost always working a 10 hour shift. - If you were on a a closing shift you almost always ended up leaving late due to insufficient staff on closes - Closing staff often had to make up for work that other people hadn't done, that could easily have been helped with.

      Very divers tasks diverging from different products lines like dry food, fresh food, flowers, bakery

      Doesn’t use much of the new tools, excel only
