Pros

Nice facilities. Free membership. The company has AMAZING potential to completely monopolize the luxury fitness club market.

Cons

Lots of bureaucracy. The amount of oversight that corporate requires is absurd. I'd imagine that this is because they grew rather quickly, and wanted to ensure consistency by distributing forms and policies company-wide. Great idea, poor execution. You often end up spending more time doing paperwork than anything else. You're required to memorize a script to "save" people from leaving the swim program. You're required to memorize the mission and vision, LEAF, 25/10, 10/20. You will get surprise "audited" but corporate leadership, not on customer service skills and your smile, but whether or not you can "recite" the company's vision. These priorities seem misguided. Their product is unique, but the luxurious aspect lost its luster, causing members to select cheaper options.

Pros

Members are great and free membership is a perk. Coworkers are supportive.

Cons

You will be micromanaged to death, whether you have three weeks of experience or 20 years. Policies are vague. Communication with leadership is poor. You can be a strong, experienced performer and have very few classes, or brand new and get 8 a week. There appears to be no logic or strategy to anything that happens.
