Pros
1.) Freedom to work your own hours, no car or babysitter needed. 2.) One of the higher paying work-at-home jobs out there. 3.) Work has been consistent the past couple of years, with opportunities for extra hours. 4.) My management team is pretty easy to work with, but that's not true with all the positions.
Cons
1.) Lack of opportunity for growth, though they will tell you there is when you first start. 2.) NO RAISES or BONUSES. I've been there for more than 4.5 years at the same pay rate. 3.) NO BENEFITS. Yes, I am a contractor, but that doesn't mean they can't offer raises or earned PTO. I don't take vacations, while my managers do. Must be nice. 4.) You have to pay all your own taxes as an IC. If you don't have at least one dependent to claim, that can hurt. 5.) They seem to know how to create low worker morale.
