Pros
I don't feel as though I'm micro-managed in my work that I perform. There are yearly raises right on the 12-month mark. Once you're in the door, you have access to all of the open career positions, salary ranges that Lockheed Martin offers all around the country. You can apply for these jobs. Moving to some other state might be on your own dime, though.
Cons
Only 2 weeks of vacation until you reach the 5th year. Minimal days of sick time alloted (especially when compared to Government workers). When it comes to career management - you're pretty much on your own to find the next step of your destination. Objectives are set by the employee on a yearly basis and reviewed with one's manager. However, there seems to be a lack of mentoring which would greatly benefit the employees. But, managers do get stretched thin, making the mentoring process nearly impossible. Retirement? Gone are the days of a retirement pension. Instead, a 401(k) is utilized - like most other major corporations at this point in time.
