      Amazing culture and people - Sr. HR Program Manager Lumen Employee Review

      Pros

      I loved working at Lumen primarily because of the people and the culture. Every team I was on got to know one another on a personal level and not just at the surface level. The culture is very inclusive and has empathy at the forefront. If you've ever read Dare to Lead by Brene Brown, it's the blueprint for Lumen's culture and it shows. Most of the company works remotely which is awesome as well.

      Cons

      People at Lumen tend to be very busy, either because they are doing multiple people's jobs or because they are bogged down in back to back calls. Additionally, pay tends to be slightly below market and annual raises are not guaranteed. Additionally, career advancement is very vague and there aren't any formal pathways.

      Pros

      Easy to learn, manageable schedule, supportive management

      Cons

      Changes in systems with many malfunctions, confusing workflows, policies set with little guidance (like figure it out yourself)

      Pros

      Good pay, great benefits, great people to work with, boss is great, etc.

      Cons

      Company is undergoing transformation, so it's a bit chaotic. Have to work with old stuff and new stuff at the same time. Hopefully that will change as we transform further.
