Pros
Great training, and nice colleagues. Also good product discounts (50%), and perks. You can take home 2 small sized products each month (not perfume). Pretty much everyone is queer, which is nice.
Cons
The further up you go in the lush foodchain, the less and less they seem to understand human interactions. The culture of approaching/re-approaching is frankly horrible. We know how awkward it is, but higher-ups are breathing down our necks, making work a pretty unpleasant and stressful environment. The managers tell the supervisors to tell the sales assistants to 're-approach' a customer for the third time, without the common sense that "i'm just looking" means "leave me alone please". The senior team are on the shop floor more than ever, and with big smiles, can be very patronising. If you've been into a LUSH, as a customer, you can imagine how it is to work there. Intense. Colourful. Sometimes fake.
