Pros

the ability to build an incredible and unique team. every day is unique and a different challege slightly higher pay that other retail management roles.

Cons

The warehouse staff have high turnover, and this means product formulation fluctuates dramatically. Product comes to the store damaged or disgusting. the NSW state manager is one of the most useless people I have ever met. The region suffers under her leadership. The company mindset is cultlike and insulating. There is limited help by the other managers as #1 they are all also burnt out, or #2 they love the company to an insane amount and that means any issue you may face is a weakness on your end, and there could not be fault of the company. Nepotism is also a major issue, but as that is quite literally the foundation of the company, this is to be expected (thanks Mark Constantine) while the pay is higher than other companies, it is not enough for the strain it provides. you must work outside of work hours or else you fall behind.

Pros

Excellent inclusive company culture, employee discount, learning about natural ingredients for skincare, genuinely great and engaged team members, flexible work schedule for part time or casual positions.

Cons

High amount of work, unreasonable "evidence driven" feedback and coaching models, and unrealistic performance metrics for comically low pay, especially for floor coordinators. No additional pay given for specialty roles, which is many enhanced responsibilities over a specific area of the business, and little opportunity for career growth beyond the sales floor unless you are hired from an external management position. Floor Coordinator seems to be the highest rung most people can hit before being driven elsewhere.
