Pros
Depending on manager/boss very flexible about needing to rearrange schedule or miss work for doctors appointments and/or if child is sick or has special activity. Executive employees have unlimited sick leave.
Cons
Extremely slow to structural what seem like common sense changes, rash decision making when retail environment isn't the strongest which isn't always the most sound decisions, some people are absolutely miserable dependent on manager. Lazy individuals tend to get promoted more often just to move them out of an area and really strong candidates get hoarded by managers/VPs rather than a quicker promotion.
