Pros

Friendly and dynamic work environment with options to switch between computer admin work to leading activities in the community to engaging in person centered work one on one with students. Which is great for people that like work environments that vary and keep it interesting! There are great health care benefits for full time employees, including a wellness stipend that you receive quarterly and can spend on anything wellness included, such as vitamins, gym membership, massages, pedicures! Employees also have ample opportunity to advance their career by moving up in positions, they often prioritize promoting people internally. Two weeks PAID vacation in December around the holiday season in addition to your regular PTO!

Cons

Too much free delicious food! Just kidding, this is one of my favorite perks, especially with the high cost of food these days.

Pros

-Heartfelt work culture based on care for one another and the wonderful students! -Transparent, encouraging, and approachable upper management. -Reasonable pay and perks for an entry level part-time position. -Holistic approach to student and staff development and wellbeing. -Potential to go on fun trips with the students such as hiking, ice cream, bike rides, and most other activities you can think of!

Cons

-It is easy to "pretend" to work on your laptop, and no one calls you out for it. Substitute Community Engagement Coaches don't have much required work, so you need to figure out how to keep busy. -There is less socioeconomic diversity than many other human service positions because Mansfield Hall is an expensive privately funded program.
