Mansfield Hall has an employee rating of 4.0 out of 5 stars, based on 26 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have a good working experience there.
-Heartfelt work culture based on care for one another and the wonderful students!
-Transparent, encouraging, and approachable upper management.
-Reasonable pay and perks for an entry level part-time position.
-Holistic approach to student and staff development and wellbeing.
-Potential to go on fun trips with the students such as hiking, ice cream, bike rides, and most other activities you can think of!
Cons
-It is easy to "pretend" to work on your laptop, and no one calls you out for it. Substitute Community Engagement Coaches don't have much required work, so you need to figure out how to keep busy.
-There is less socioeconomic diversity than many other human service positions because Mansfield Hall is an expensive privately funded program.
This can be a fun and unique place to work. It is a very personable environment. The students are the best part. I learned so much from them. Staff receives a lot of grace and support from eachother. The organization is always trying to take feedback and improve.
Cons
Directors have a lot of responsibility. In my opinion, it is too much for their qualifications. There is clear an obvious nepotism involved in hiring and promoting.
