Joke Of A Company - CM Martin Retail Group Employee Review

Pros

Great PTO, flexible hours, hybrid work environment, fun and friendly coworkers

Cons

The company's structure for most things is absolutely awful. There is no consistent pay scale, no annual reviews or raises, nobody is held accountable for errors or lack of work, and promotions are only handed out when someone quits. Most CMs are overworked while superiors hardly work at all and ignore messages from their team. Training is sporadic and the lack of is a huge issue for new hires. Departments come and go at different times and some managers are immune to coming in at all while maintaining hypocritical double standards for their team. We have had over 10 CMs leave in the last few months due to horrible pay and overworking. When asking some managers about how this will be dealt with, we are often met with late and vague replies indicating they didn't even put the effort in to ask. If you want to work at a company that will acknowledge your success and support your career, please look elsewhere!

Pros

Great PTO plan and great coworkers

Cons

If you’re a CM you will be paid one salary to work three positions. This company will do anything but pay their employees to stay. Absolutely horrendous pay and there is no structure to the pay scale. People have been leaving the CM Team at Martin due to blatant inequitable compensation. It is so egregious that there have been 11 Campaign Managers leave so far since the start of this Summer. The CEO and upper management has been completely silent in their response to this mass exodus of people in such a short time. They either do not care or cannot see that the pay is the problem. We’ve been told many things about our lacking pay when attempting to have a substantial increase equal to the work, “the GMCO team has to approve the increase; Publicis would have to approve the increase; we’ve had budget cuts this year" (even when we’re told it’s been a record year so far).
