I had a generally great experience working for over a year at Datamarx. Due to funding problems around COVID, management had to lay off a bunch of people including myself. This created a fair amount of anger and resentment amongst my peers - that's what some of these negative reviews are about and not really justified in my opinion.
The company not only paid very well, but took us out to dinner often and even brought the whole team to Las Vegas! I was always treated with respect and most importantly learned a ton enabling me to find another great job afterward (with a super helpful introduction / recommendation from the founders).
It's curious to see how other former employees are denigrating the culture and leadership - yet I never heard any of these complaints or concerns while we were with Datamarx until COVID layoffs took place.
Regardless, very happy to hear through the grapevine that things are back on track for the business and the platform is coming along strongly.
Cons
Working with first time founders was both exciting since I was given a lot of freedom, responsibility, and ownership but also slightly challenging at times as the young business evolved through typical and expected growing pains.
