Anyone can learn about product, but it's only about finding and closing prospective clients. Granted conditions have been very difficult over the past couple years, but this task is extremely difficult. Sales managers present a completely unrealistic projection of how hard it is to even make money, much less meet sales numbers. The majority of sales managers could not meet the numbers they lure with in recruiting. They play the numbers of a revolving door. It was funny to see so much emphasis on product when prospecting is the key. Referral generating concepts look great on paper, but only few can gain traction from these approaches.
