Cons
1. Politics of Management (it starts right at the Team management level). 2. You need to be in Managers good books if you want a good career in McAfee(now Intel security Group).Honesty towards work at individual level will not help you grow in this company at least not these days. 3. Promotions and Recognition are biased at times. 4. Its really hard for an average person to get recognized,and you really need to create dependency if you want to get timely recognition. 5. All the teams in really don't to get a chance to work towards cyber security .Although management says that opportunities are unlimited,but it really doesn't works that way. 6. You really need to have lot of vocal and show off skills to survive happily in this company.if you are thinking of hard work/smartwork then this is definitely not the place. There are people who are working for more than >10 years here ,these are the people who got in during the early days .Right now staying in this company without a good survival plan comprising of the above specified things is not practical.
