Pros
1. Work life balance can be okay at times. 2. They do partner with the global agencies, so people in the industry know about the Mediaocean brand, but as a tech player they are past their prime. 3. Not so bad place to learn dev and product ops 101, although the app suite is old, clunky and there is A LOT of legacy tech. 4. Very few, but some smart folks across teams.
Cons
1. Across All Teams - A large number of employees have been at the company for a REALLY long time. There is nothing wrong with this, but there are SOME SERIOUS ego clashes. 2. Product - Classic feature factory. Keep pushing stuff until something sticks. There is no roadmap - agencies treat the company as their custom dev shop. No data to do pre or post release analysis. 3. Dev/QA - It is a platform team, so if you are delivering something that touches 5 teams - good luck with that. Every team is so siloed that they will put their hands up if something is outside their scope. 4. PMM - They only maintain feature delivery decks and don't have a clue of how the product works. 4. CS/CX/Rest of the departments - They fight internally for their features and if something breaks, product and dev is pushed under the bus.
