Pros
Great people and pretty good experience. You can earn Fridays off IF you hit quota, great GREAT perk. The job is FINE if you’re on a good client, even then it’s still kinda unbearable. The people are the really only GREAT thing. It got me an account executive role for my second role out of college which is a major pro.
Cons
The pay is atrocious and the job fully depends on what client you get. I was an avid quota hitter but I was on a good client. The way they payout commission is absurd and very little. If you want experience and don’t mind living off your salary, go to mB. A majority of people aren’t in sales to live off salary, they’re in it to make a lot of money, memoryBlue does NOT offer this. If you hit quota, you make 1500$ BUT 1000$ of it goes into a bank that you aren’t allowed to get until you are at the company for 15 months. So prepare yourself to make 200-300$ of “commission” while making 200-300 dials a day. A lot of the time, it feels like school, it’s more a less a glorified internship. It’s a 5 day in office work week which is absurd for the type of job you’re doing, you’re dialing people on an application all day. They also track all your dials and you’re expected to make 200+ phone calls a day if you get no pick ups.
