Pros
Outstanding place to learn and grow I worked at Methodology a few years ago before relocating, and it remains the best workplace I've experienced. My coworkers were talented, collaborative, and genuinely cared about the work we were doing together. The chefs I worked with were skilled professionals who brought creativity and discipline to everything they did. My managers invested in my development, and the founders were actively engaged in building the product, not just overseeing from a distance. The culture at Methodology rewards people who are proactive and serious about their work. Everyone moves quickly to fix problems and improve processes, which creates an environment where you can actually make an impact. What I valued most was how much I learned. Methodology gave me all the skills I needed to later run a restaurant group, particularly on the financial side. They operate with rare transparency, from how they manage budgets to how they source high-end ingredients. They stay genuinely true to their mission, something I haven't found anywhere else in the restaurant industry since leaving. If you want to work somewhere that invests in you, surrounds you with great people, and lives its values, this is it.
Cons
The company grows quickly and information might get lost in the shuffle at times. The processes change quickly, but the managers are quick to document things and align the team, but it's just the nature of the business that is so fast paced because they have a weekly changing menu for their customers. That in itself is a feat but I would recommend not having that much change because the employees can can always keep up. I would suggest the founders be a little bit more frugal and controlled on cost, especially now that I have gone on to manage different business units,
