Pros
'High performance environment' is a term used far too loosely, however this is the most 'high-performance environment' I've worked in across 30 years in the industry. There is genuine opportunity for people who want to put in the effort to build a career and be rewarded well for impact. There is a strong sales culture and a real sense of momentum-everyone everywhere knows the second deals are done. There is collaboration shown in actions not just words. You feel like you are part of a growth story rather than just another company going through the motions. Good people tend to progress quickly and responsibility is given early if you show capability, consistency & solid behaviours. The business invests in development more than many recruitment businesses - particularly around leadership, coaching and performance. There is very strong visibility to senior leadership, and the operating pace means you can have a meaningful impact quickly. For ambitious people, that is exciting rather than intimidating. The energy in every corner of the business is high; there are clear standards, and success is recognised and rewarded. Attitude, mindset, and a 'what if' rather than 'no because' approach are things that are revered. If you enjoy accountability, performance and growth, the opportunities are for the taking.
Cons
It definitely isn’t an environment for everyone. The pace & expectations are high & so I'd have to say it's not for the faint-hearted. Certainly in leadership you need to be comfortable operating with imperfect information at times-as is a characteristic of growth- adapting quickly as the business scales. Priorities can move fast and there is a strong commercial focus, so resilience, agility and ownership are important. Because the company is growing quickly, structures and processes are still evolving in some areas. People who prefer very slow, structured or heavily layered environments may find that challenging. The intensity can be demanding, particularly for anyone who may struggle with direct feedback or high-accountability cultures. That said, for the right person, many of the 'cons' are also the reasons the company is growing and creating opportunity so quickly, and is indeed the fuel for the people here.
