Pros

Company van, tools, and gas card

Cons

Where do I start? Metronet is a horrible company to work for. When I first started it was a good company. I looked forward going to work but now, I'm glad I quit! Pay is not even the national average. They don't care about their employees. Right now they are making their technicians work a mandatory 60 hours in another market. They are not paying for drive time from their house to the customers house that could be 2 hours away. The ladies in dispatch do what they can, but they get overwhelmed by the technicians, TTU, and business processing. If there are only 2 technicians left in Lafayette with contractors quitting left and right as well, that means something is wrong! Management has no clue! They are all concerned about making the all mighty dollar and not reinvesting in their employees. There's little or no room for anyone to move up in the company unless you know someone in management in Evansville. I truly believe lower management in certain cities care for their employees. The supervisors try and fight for raises but unless you can master their "Metric System," then there's no way of getting a raise. The daily quota is always set above 100% and they have a failed ETA system. Okay, my rant it over. All in all, do NOT work for this company!!!!!

Pros

Metronet is an exciting, fast-growing company with strong leadership and a great product to represent. The culture encourages ownership and relationship-building while giving employees the autonomy to succeed. The growth in fiber and MDU connectivity creates real opportunity for career advancement and strong earning potential. It’s a great environment for motivated people who enjoy building something meaningful.

Cons

The role requires a high level of self-motivation and persistence, especially in developing new business opportunities and territories. The pace can be demanding at times, but it also creates opportunities for growth and impact.
