Pros

Employees are well equipped for work in terms of hardware such as office, computers, etc. Office politics is seldom felt as everyone is too busy. Opportunities are abound to work with people from various parts of the world.

Cons

No work life balance as it is run on a minimal manpower model. Preference is for employees to do overtime than to have additional head count. There have been many organizational and business plan changes that the people on the ground do not have a chance to settle down before moving again. Base salary is passable but bonus has been low for years with no salary adjustment for bad years. No real emphasis on training.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Cons

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
