Pros
They will attract you and lure you to accept a position by offering a good salary and package, but it's a trap.
Cons
They are desperate and will beg you to work there by offering you the whole package: good salary, housing etc., but it is not worth it for the following reasons: - toxic environment from top management level - they will end your employment without any warning - you have to be incompetent and part of the "regime" to get promoted - too much money no common sense - bad management and organisation - communication between different departments is rubbish - no one gives a direct clear answer and will keep you running round in circles to resolve a query - do not know how to collaborate with staff and external partners - a big PR machine and lots of glossy publicity but no substance when it comes to teaching students and supporting staff - if you want to work hard, are competent, highly experienced, want to progress and get more professional/personal development, this is not the place for you - completely delusional thinking: university has no world ranking status but everyone thinks they are at the same level as ivy league institutes! - majority of staff are incompetent and only get a job because of their connections to friends and family already employed, perfect example of nepotism! - lots of backstabbing to get promoted, acquire funding for non-existent projects - people are mostly concerned about their status and job title rather than skills and competence - the few who work hard and want to achieve something are sidelined or expulsed - trying too hard to present itself as a flexible institute but in reality is dictatorial - warning again: very toxic environment that will cause you mental stress and affect your health Stay away from this university!!! Not worth even one-star review!!!
